Who is Sol Sisters...

Leah Brickhouse started Sol Sisters with the intention of making small steps toward a better world for her family, the local community, and the world.

Leah has a passion for local, organic, and fair trade. In supporting those communities, she hopes to share how others can make steps toward change in their lives and communities.

In taking the steps toward a better future, Leah practices conscious consumerism and wants to promote that practice and create more opportunities in our local community and yours through socially responsible business.

As a socially responsible business, Sol Sisters first looks for all natural ingredients that are beneficial for body and soul.
Sol Sisters looks for local organic farmers and producers in order to support a healthy environment.
We recycle and reuse, as much as possible.

Sol Sisters produces our body creations by hand on a small scale, in order to minimize our foot print on the earth.
In taking time and being conscious producers, Sol Sisters creates high quality, environmentally, and human friendly products.

The focus on small scale, local production here in Sweden gives us the understanding of how important it is to support the same ideas through fair trade around the world.

Sol Sisters works with the fair trade cooperative Global Mamas in Ghana, which like us, is organized by small women-owned businesses producing handmade, batiked appeal and accessories on a small scale.
They too are helping in sustaining their local community through their businesses and the sales of their products.

In supporting local, organic, fair trade production through conscious consumerism or socially responsible businesses, you help to create a better world now and for future generations.
